Hello all, I'm new to the Poi addiction. I live in Milwaukee, Wisconsin (but I was born and raised in Leicestershire, England in case anyone wonders where my strange accent is from). I'm way to old to be learning stuff like Poi, which is precisely why I'm learning stuff like Poi.
Contact Juggling was my gateway drug and now I'm on a frantic quest through every form of manipulation I can find... multiball, toss juggling, iso hoop, flower sticks and now poi. I'm not much good at any of them but I've been contact juggling the longest (coming up on 2 years now). I can do a mean drop.
I'm still at the wildly flailing nutshot stage (in fact I gave myself one today). but I just started classes with Russian Wulfgar and hope to improve to the point where I don't reduce my masculinity with each practice session.
Also I'm a regular over at contactjuggling.org (I'm betting I'll bump into some folks I know over here actually), and I'm looking forward to getting to know you all!
As for answering that last question... I've honestly never tried any of them, save for a quickly and violently-rejected gob of Marmite back in my childhood. I'm guessing out of the other two, Nutella sounds more my bag...
