Erm, yes, I'm slightly drunk from lunch time still, and I'm free of this place in 6 weeks time. After months of worrying about this day, of sleepless nights and hours spent wondering what the worse case scenario would be, it turns out my boss just accepted the letter and hasn't spoken to me the rest of the day.

But this is by no means abnormal, so I'm strangly comforted by the fact I've not been balled out, or had a minute clause in my contract stating I've signed my soul to the devil (workplace) for the next lifetime and a half.

So, I'm jubilant I've actually taken this next step, and feel much better with myself for doing so. And finally, I've got to tell my workmates about the fact I have three unconditional offers for university courses, and the potential for three more. Which I'm pretty pleased about.

So, erm, thanks for reading. I don't expect any replies, and I definately don't expect the topic to stay on track.

And, and seen as I'm actually writing a post I'll pop into this sentance a thank you to Cantus for the blue key-ring device he gave to me from his draw of useless items. It's actually been used a couple of times since.

Spoiling Christmas for small children since 2003.

Someone said that to me when I left my job to go travelling by myself around the world for two years.

Good advice, methinks biggrin

I have to hand in my notice on Monday and I'm really not looking forward to it. I just have a feeling that my boss won't be too happy! Still will be nice to be out in the open.
