WE'RE SLACK DON'T BELEAVE ANY ON THIS THREAD (apart from maybe the most recent post)

If you want to meet up with any smelly hippy fire spinners in bristol post something to ask when and where people are meeting up. most people are quite nice and will happily help you or if thats not your thing ask me and i'll abuse you for no reason biggrin

p.s. Normally we meet up on sunday 2:30-5pm at the Student union, Queens Road, Clifton (But this only runs in term time)

Oh yeah b4 you ask no you don't need to be a student

I'm going home for a few days, so this weekend won't be happening for me.

I might be back next week though, to continue the (seemingly) neverending search for accommodation.

In theory, yes. But since we are all really slack at getting our arses down to the park i might wait till it gets a bit warmer to make sure people are actually there.

Also, what night had you in mind? Monday is juggling, tuesday spinjam, wednesday hoopjam, thursday i guess is possible but recently seems to have turned into board game night at the greenbank, friday is pub as is saturday, sunday is circus.
I know circus finishes at 5 and we could all in theory make it after but (as above) we is slack innit.

Hopefully its a case of 'if you organise it, they will come'.

Busy with other stuff so slack at getting out to the park for fire. I recon last weeks sun was an anomaly, might wait a bit longer for it to warm up.

Hello all!
Been out of the scene for ooooh sooo long and have a favour to ask...

I'm now working for B&NES council and my colleagues are organising as much as they can for National Bike Week. Our aim is to get as many kids (and adults) cycling as possible.

They'd like to do something fun for it, but have next to no budget. Looking for a friendly bunch of people who are willing to offer a juggling workshop/ demo/ try out session (preferably that includes unicycle), during Bike Week in June (13-21 June).

The benefit for you would be:
-publicity. If you run paid for workshops, a freebie for us will get you the chance to be seen by (hopefully) hundreds of children, parents and teachers.
-If you are a performer and looking for some bookings, you can't get better publicity than being attached to an event that we will be publicising as much as possible throughout the B&NES authority area.
-the chance to sell some juggling equipment if you make and sell it
-the chance to enthrall lots of children (and some adults) with your skills, pass on your techniques to a whole new generation and generally have some fun!!!

Is anyone available, or know someone who would be?!!!

I'm after a fairly quick response so that my colleagues can organise it and get some publicity to get as many people attending as possible.
Plus I'm off to spain on Friday.

Many thanks,
Foxy aka Jess

Oh, if you are willing and able, please contact tom_webster@bathnes.gov.uk

It must be Thursday.
I never could get the hang of Thursdays
