Okay right poi-Neptune
left poi-Pluto.....cause the pattern their paths around the sun form is like when I do the atom.....which I think is one of the easiest and most visually satisfying moves.

Hehe...I wonder what kinda names people will come up with for their staffs

Okay take a deep breath...nice and slow. Breath deeply right into your stomach, allow your chest to expand. You just need to relax the names will come to you. It's gonna be okay
Nah just name your favourites then...

umm, butterfly in split time with the pois going at a 90 degree angle towards eachother...looks especially cool when done over the head.

My double staffs (practice ones mind) are named Derrick and Titian. Derrick is somewhat rebellious. I really need a name for that beautiful giant six foot thing i play with when i'm feeling brave.... hehehe...

ok, i have three sets of poi and an additional set of chains and handles, plus four staffs, none of teh staffs are fire staffs, and i've been doing this for how long? *runs and hides*

oh and i want to make a new pair of double staffs, i bet just four inches less on them would make it so i could do those burn teh nose-type moves....

eeeek! I'm addicted.....

My right poi is named Elizabeth after my "Lil Sis" because I talk to it while I'm poiing.

The right poi is silent. So I'll name it " ". Work?

Charles-me thinks you're gonna need some name tags...you should probably just invest in one of those neat little label printers...so you don't hurt yourself while furiously writing down all their names

much enjoyed the bob comment!!! I have never named my poi or staves, but i have named my shoes, my left shoe is called lefty and my right shoe is called gumption. however this means nothing as they are both known as BOB now.

I used to struggle with insanity...
...now i enjoy it!!!

It's all good

woot! names are tasty.
Every staff dies, but not every staff truly gets a name! Of my firetoys, only three have been christened, the rest live in sin and will burn in hell, if not at Edinborough Gardens. *sorry!*
my first staff was "stik" I loved that staff, as it gave so much to me (yeah no pun intended - this time).
plus a 3 section firestaff named 'bobo', a pissweak reference to my ongoing fantasy of one day owning a rhesus monkey called 'bobo' they can fetch + open beer ya know!
bobo has many more cousins for sale here! PLUG! now i can enter firetwirler heaven.
plus a 3 sectional firestaff named 'hurty' like the N.S.A., hurty does not play well with others.
am considering nameing my double staves 'Zaphod' and 'Beeblebroz' ('Beeblebrox' for the 1m blue handled one and 'Zaphod' for the blue handled 100cm one)

that is all. return to your salami. thank you.

Are you sure you wouldn't luv 'em & hug 'em & call them George?

It was a day for screaming at inanimate objects.

What this calls for is a special mix of psychology and extreme violence...
