I was first introduced to poi by a friend. She was really good and made it look like a lot of fun. Then I saw a whole group of fire dancers, including some "flaming fingers" ladys. That was really cool too. Went to an intimate performance at a local bar, and was blown away. Recently was in San Francisco and picked up the SF Weekly w/ a fire dancer on the cover. Read the artile, found this site, here I am. I am looking to learn and connect w/ the community.

Such a warm welcome. Thanks y'all. (<---Just for effect, not my dialect...) As far as more about myself, I dunno what to say. BTW Pink is a great color, speaking in a fashion sense, it's supposed to be "the new black." Which is partially true, it goes with just about everything. Born and raised in Portland, k-12 education, gruelling 9-6 in a call center, taking abuse, er supervisor calls all day. So you say "Lemmie talk to your supervisor..." (Then you would prolly be talkin with me...)
