devkev, sounds like you've got a lost property office someplace completely devoted to your lost juggling stuff.... i am impressed!

i have lost one mere practise poi, which went over the neighbours fence and got sucked into some sort of black hole, because it's never turned up...

most other lost bits, i;ve managed to retrieve, so am not doing too badly in the keeping hold of things stakes...

I lost my fire virginity somewhere on the playa at Burning Man. If you happen to come across it, be a sport and help it get lost again.

Other than that, I hold on to my poi gear like it's made of gold!

i can only think of five things:

Pair of Homeofpoi blue electroglo poi. Left them on a bus in South London after i'd had them about a month. They're still the only glopoi i've ever owned.

A single fairie ben black and white sock poi, somewhere around Jackson's Lane in Highgate, London.

My 85mm acrylic at a squat party in Archway, London.

My first ever broomstick practice staff which i learnt most of my singles and doubles stuff with, which went AWOL at a bonfire night party. i fear it may have been cremated, or it may be somewhere lost and soggy in the woods surrounding my house.

all i've ever lost was 1 sock poi, and that was stolen at a festival. probably not intentionally "stolen", just picked up and carried away by some nut who was off his head and thought it was fun. hope he did have fun with it though.

so aside from about 100 lighters (i always go spinning with about 4 or 5 lighters and end up with none) there's not really anything else poi-related

my toys are my substitute children you see. they sleep in their own beds at night and have their own seat on the bus ubbloco

regular stuff that i've lost? that's a different kettle of fish. i won't go there though, otherwise this thread could very well end up with more pages than the Word Association Game.....
