Posted: your turning and reels were very smooth and relaxing. Not at all what I would expect from someone hopped up on caffeine. The stalls here and there had a nice flowy feel to them.
two things I would like to suggest: - start experimenting with more stalls: upwards, horizontal, etc.
- focus on your planes when you go into the over the head manuevers. There were a couple of points where your left hand was not getting as high as it needed to and the poi went more horizontal than the other. When I went back to look again, it seems like your left hand tends to go no higher than your shoulder height. It loses some of the impact that your right hand gets from the full extension.
And it was an excellent choice of song. The heavy beat fit very well.

Posted: Thank you so much, Squid! I actually started fooling around this week with different kinds of stalls, and it's been really fun. I know my left hand is... less disciplined... than my right hand. Thanks for pointing it out in a helpful and eloquent way. That song is a lot of fun to spin to. I've been thinking about doing one to "Sister Kate" by the Ditty Bops, if that means anything. I think it would do well with stalls, too. Muy muy helpful, friend!
Posted: Sweet.. the ditty bops! You still in Salem and do you know many other Salem spinners? Let me know if you ever want to go for a spin (I'm down in Eugene but travel that way quite often).
