I have some poi performance history.I used to be a poi teacher in Holland, Nepal and India. I was a member of a poi group before too. I was even a member of HOP. I used to be very enthusiastic about poi, fire poi, contact juggling and stuff before, but there came a time when I stopped. I stopped because I lost my inspiration in this beautiful art. I didnt see anymore what it is about to spin a balls around my head. Today I am here again because I got an excellent idea to buy those fluffy poi for a little girl who I taking care of. I am going to teach her. I am sure she will like it. So maybe I will get inspired again. Oh yes,My name is Iveta I am currently living in Nederlands and I am 25 years old, female. So this is my little introduction...

Posted: ditto angel's comment. Welcome back to the fold, as it were. I got to go to the Nederlands a couple years ago and totally fell in love with it-- so I'm a little jealous. Those fluffy poi do look like fun, huh? Good luck with the girl-- I've worked with a few little kids and they seem to pick it up quickly. Theyr'e not afraid to just swing it wildly and get hit and look silly, which might be step one to learning this kind of thing.
