Posted: Ben Goldacre has posted a new chapter of his Bad Science book on his blog of the same name.
This chapter is about Matthias Rath and was not allowed to be published in the first edition due to a legal case surrounding the claims in the text. Ben has now won the right to publish the chapter in the second edition (available now) and Rath has been ordered to pay all the legal costs for the case (which were being paid by The Guardian for the duration of the case).
It makes fascinating reading about an evil man and his sick / misguided supporters.
The chapter is available to read for free on the blog or as a pdf download from his website.
Ben Goldacre is a hero of common sense, best selling author, columnist in the Guardian as well as a medical doctor. For more info on him his wikipedia entry is here or have a look at the info pages on his blog.
