Just got in, feeling woozy and spotted an advert for woolworths advertising a best of Lp of George Benson......girls and guys dressed in fly soulful clothing, looking all pleased with themselves and casting meaningful looks at the camera...then half way through...some bird doing poi?
WTF?
Looks like poi really has hit the mainstream, I've seen it on a BBC link before but not in an advert. It almost felt like a cliche at Glasto this year with the amount of people, children, babies, dogs, small forest dwelling mammals doing it...not that I want people to stop or anything. Just feels a little less special if you know what I mean.
...just an observation.
btw, if anyone fancies telling a joke or two to cheer me I'd appreciate it as I'm miserable as f'k at the mo.

Exactly my thoughts, people in advertising puzzle me sometimes......seriously they should just kill themselves...rid the world of their evil machinations...etc..etc.
