Come and learn the basics of poi spinning and how to integrate this beautiful prop into your dance.
During this course you will learn the basic moves and transitions. Moves covered will include butterfly, angel wings, the weave, corkscrew, lock outs, buzz saw and turns. Each week you will be given drills to help you master these moves and allow you to access the 'flow' of spinning.
Sorcha has designed this course to give you a good foundation in poi spinning and to gain the knowledge of how to use this prop with both choreography and improvisation.
Fee: £85 for 6 weeks (for early bird bookings before 1st March). £95 after 1st March.
Venue: Somers Town Community Association, 150 Assulston St, London NW1 1EE.
