Eminem's new vid

Look, my Detroit homie's gettin' all political these days.

The new "Mosh" video is highly political and 'leaking' at just the right time before the election.

I'm going to his 'Shady Convention' secret concert on Thursday (If all goes well) and I'm curious as to what he'll say there.

I've always been an informed Eminem fan. I think he's a huge positive force in uncovering many unsaid negatives in our society. I'll even go as far as to say I think he's one of the most self reflective artists in any art form that I've seen.

It's probably strange for a 31 year old like myself to be endorsing such a 'pop' culture icon but as somebody who's sat down with most of his lyrics and also sees the amazing connection with and understanding of America's youth I have a great respect for him.

Sure, he's done some not-so-good things in the past, but much less than most celebrities. And I think the positives of exposing the chaos and rage in today's youth outweighs most of the negatives of the renegade style which he lives. I also think he got a bum rap as a 'bigot'. But maybe that's because I've read more of his lyrics than most.

Then again, anybody gettin' produced by Dre is gonna be hot. But that's just me.
