Although i've been around on here for quite a while i was only convinced to create one of these last weekend.
Well my name's Gayle
I'm 23 and live in the best place in the world - Bristol
I live in a ten foot square house and like to spin poi although i've been trying to learn diablo, devil stick and get a bit better at juggling.
I love dancing and all things related to dancing except Ballet which scares me almost as much as my one phobia in life - Fireworks. I was born on fireworks night which i suppose contributes to my fear of evil bangy things.
I love marzipan with a passion and if i could get away with eating it every day i would. Mushrooms make me hurl and anyone who has met me and ate with me will understand the true hatred i possess for the things.
I work as a geeky computer programmer although i don't understand it and spend most of the time walking round in a daze partly listening to people when they try and explain how the world of computer programming works.
I have one ambition in life - to run my own dance school. Although a very achievable dream i doubt i'll ever get there unless i partake in the lottery which i do not. Spot the fatal flaw in the plan!!
I have met quite a few HOPpers now although i'd like to meet more so if anyone is ever passing the wonderful city of Bristol on their travels - give us a shout and i'll willing show you round........

We have a Chimaera meeting on the Saturday and we need to get things ready for Iceland.
Did i tell people we're off to Iceland at the end of October. Yay! We're so excited. Trying to buy a new camera to take but it's ok i've got Mech and Bov on the job

Iceland is cool, but very very strange.
We cannot find Assam tea anywhere, have developed a new obsession with hot-dogs and now think London is cheap!

We have seen tectonic plate rifts, the northern lights, huge waterfalls, geysers and lots of snow.

Yay! It's my birthday!
I'm at home "working" today and have just opened all my pressies. I got some lush wick covers from Jonny and Lynne. Lovely packaging - highly recommeded as presents for people.

We share a common dream and a common problem, starting a school of our own without the funds, I teach randoms how to use any of my fifteen different weapons/ fire props and still can't quite reach my goal.Don't stop trying though.

Everything is hunky-dorey in the land of me and Neal. Neal had a lovely birthday on Saturday and won over £100 at the casino which topped off his day brilliantly.
I'm in the middle of trying to decide to ditch my job and re-train as a teacher or not. What do you think?

Skully, I would still love to do it. Life has moved on quite a lot from 2 years ago though. My teaching certificate has elapsed, i'm now in Bristol with the steepest competition and i can't afford to rent the halls...
It'll always be "the dream". Although not quite "the exact dream" as they knocked down the building i wanted in Bath.

Gayle i have a couple of friends who are teachers. One teaches music and the other teaches art. They love their jobs and the kids love them, I think it'd be a great step for you babes!
