Hello everybody welcome to the most comprehensive dutch spinners list on HoP...



weavesmiley This list is for those who live in Holland and are looking for spinners in the area, because most of us don't seem to be on the Meet Others Database somehow.

ubbloco We have a [Old link] in the "events, performances and gatherings" section where we make plans to meet up on a regular basis (ok, and for some general chat at times). Come visit us there for some spinning mayhem.

bounce2 Also if you are foreign and are coming to our country, this could be a way to contact us. we are mostly quite happy to all meet up and meet you in one of the 3 big cities we have regular meets at (Amsterdam, Den Haag and Utrecht).

Hi, I will be in Utrecht in September for a long, long time. And I'll come in May for some days.

are there some utrecht-poi-people that want to meet a stinky german?

i still suck with poi (startet september) but i'm doing my best smile

ah yeah - does any one knows ow to find a part-time job in utrecht without speaking dutch? (maybe some godfather-poi-maifa-relationship.. i wouldnt mind that biggrin)

Me, I love poi, started doing it a little while ago..hurt myself far too many times, but I guess it's true: it's worth it!

Heya guys, i'm Arne, i'm a guy of 17 years old, and have been practising poi now for about 10 monts, the last 2 monts i also started practising staff, and since 2 weeks fire breathing smile I live in Leerdam (zuid-holland) i didn't know there where so many people in the netherlands doing poi and staff smile i saw u organise meathings in utrecht, and i wanto meat other people, playing with fire allone is kinda boring, so i'd love to join u guys someday.

i am very new to POI and the relative stuff.
and i am wondering if there is any teachers around?

that could possible help a person out a little, i know some simple moves, but very limited.

since i have no poi buddy to assist me in the training that can see where the misstakes happen i am looking for a teacher in the Leiden/amsterdam area.

I also co-run a forum specifically for Dutch poi people to meet up and spin. Started when we met so many other spinners at Castlefest last year. We have meetings every month or so and there're about 40 of us. If anyone is interested, they can PM me as it would be very impolite to post the link here.

There's a few of us from Deventer there and we like to meet up at weekends sometimes and spin fire over the far side of the Ijssel. About 5 of us. Anyone in the area is welcome!
