Harry, you don't *really* look like Harry Potter. It's just that all British boys look alike.

Quite simple, really. wink

BTW, I about died in the part where Myrtle came in and was flirting with Harry in the bath. that didnt come accross so much. nor did the fact that Ron and Hermione like each other but dont know it. it was there a little but they made more of that in the last film
and yeah Cidric wasnt that bad to look at eh...

ubblol wink

I think that in the time given they did actually manage to put across that ron and hermione like each other well.

I didn't think cedric was that fit actually, he looks too much like Prince William!

After the other films, I wasn't expecting much, but I think they did a really good job on this one. The films will never be as good as the books, but I actually thought this film was good.

I really enjoyed it actually. I'm quite suprised! The first half was really funny, before they got to the serious stuff, which was done really well, and was quite scary to the point where I had to look away for bits of it! And I'm way to old to have to do that!

Definately worth seeing.

Indeed, gayfest and straightfest just got closed down, lets not loose our Potter board as well.

Anyway...The Myrtle scene was great, the dragons where wonderfully done, even though they left out the others fighting the big ones, the little ones they pulled from the bag were adorable. I want one. I wasn't to impressive with Krumb, I thought he's be cuter. But Mrs. Skeeter was right on! Definitly PG-13 though, some parts were decently intense. All in all, a great movie that got me re-hooked on Adult themed Harry Potter fan-fics. Yes, I'm a loser like that. cool

Don't mind me, just passing through.

Meh.

Krum wasn't really described as that cute in the book. He was described as skinny and sulky with an arched nose. The arched nose survived to the movie, but they turned him into this sort of muscle-bound athlete.

Shame about the really bad staff made to look fast with whoosh sound effects and cgi effects. That always pisses me off.

Thank god there wasn't much harry draco annoyance this time, that is sooo dull.

well as i'm sure i'm pobably one of the more potter-obsessed people on HoP...

I actually wansn't disappointed at all... i knew the spew line wasn't going to be in there having read so on various potter related websites... basically anything that wasn't directly related to harry was left out... and i've not yet noticed anything critical to the rest of the story missing...

i was extreemly angry coming out of PoA, that was crap, but as we actually had a director that was a fan of the books this time i think he did well considering he had to fit it into a 2.5 hour slot.

however... i'm still not at all happy with that new guy's portrail of dumbledore... he's gone too much with the excentric side of dumbledore's personality and done away almost completely with wise, powerful, amost omnipresent side.

ditto with the last bit about dumbledore and what the hell was he thinking in the scene with moody, coming in and grabbing him like a battle HE STUNS HIM THROUGH THE GLASS IN THE DOOR NOT COMING IN LIKE SOME LOUT AND GRABBING HIM!!!!! also the loss of the house elves and Ludo was a huge mistake, i mean i am as FoxInDocs puts it "one of the more potter-obsessed people on HoP" but even though he (the director) did well with the time he had he didnt have to change things! for example, fleur should have been much paler blonde and voldemort's potion at the end is meant to look like its encrusted with diamonds not brown sludge!
although diggory was good and the scene where you had fleur, hermione and cho all in their evening gowns well that was special........ubblove
if you hadn't read the book it would probably good but if you have read the paper and ink gold that Rowling *we are not worthy* has produced, it is crap, overproduced, badly directed crap (with alright special effects)
........alright......just re read that and it was a little harsh.....people have called me odd for reading too much into things....ah well

also i saw what you meant Asena, then again i'd work out more if i knew ahead of time i would be in a bath with millions of teenage girls watching me!

I could handle them making changes to the plot and various scenes, but DO NOT change characters. angry

It's like they took all of the magic out of the story. frown
