HI! I'm new to poi, and found this website full of cool learning things, so I thought I would join the forum and see if you can help me with the basics...and more advanced moves as I get better! I also copied this, so you can learn about me:

Favorite Movie(s): Also too many to list, I like a lot of different things with movies...
Favorite TV show(s): Star Trek (anything other than the original) and CSI: Las Vegas
Plans for life in general: Not sure, actually. I'm looking into the various avenues I can try going down...currently I am looking into a career in Psychology!
Favorite Music Artists/Composers: Once again, WAY too many to list...I like electronica, rock, new age...

So, that's a bunch of stuff about me! I'm shy, but I like people (I know that doesn't work well!) So, talk to me!
I'm also just a newbie using tennis balls on chains for Poi right now, so anything above a normal swing is confusing!
Actually, speaking of confusing...anyone have some helpful hints on how to make the poi spin in the same circle? I can never get it, they just tangle, or hit me!
