Lá Fhéile Pádraig Sona Daoibh agus Beannachtaí na Féile Pádraig oraibh! biggrin

(Translation: Happy St Patrick's Day and the Blessings of St Patrick on you!)

Was just called by my mum to the sitting room, when she pointed out Fire Spinners in the Dublin Parade! First time they've ever had a fire show too!

Was it any of your guys spinning? I only saw 1 guy with a staff (Mum: He was rolling it around his neck and everything!!) 1 girl with poi, and 1 girl with double staff who looked rather firmilar (perhaps you are the double staff girl from the DJC show in Temple Bar?)

Anywhosel, Just wanted to wish every one a Happy St Patricks Day 2007! biggrin

Tabhair póg dom, is Éireannach mé!!

(Translation: Kiss me, I'm Irish!!)

Our whole city is up at arms tonight!!

I worked today (I work at the mall) and there were sooooo many people in green! Some guy actually came in my store (I work at the Gap) and asked if we had any full length bright green pants (I gaped at him, and reminded him he was in the gap - khaki land at the moment! all neutrals...)

Making three big pots of irish stew (kinda irish... though probably not at all in reality) for my bro and dad's fraternity, then heading down to par-tay.

I'll be good, though no spinning for me.

Hi. Im a random Irish Girl here. Patricks Day was very exciting I thought this year. Bray had a bit of a fire show in the parade aswell. I only saw two poi spinners and one staff. But there was more knocking around the place. It made me happy. They were good.

Happy Paddys Day!!

Ta suil agam go bhfuil an la ort go hailinn.

So what did everyone end up doing in the end?
I ended up playing an Xbox 360 for the first time at a friends house. not very patricks day ish .... but the glowy buttons on the Xbox are green smile

Happy St Patrick's to you guys too biggrin

Yep, all the fire spinners you saw, were people you know smile

Dublin was Strugz, Lisa and I... Bray was Ronan, Eimhin and Cameron.

Strugz and Lisa did awesomely in Dublin... it was a really intense, full hour and a half of spinning fire. There were 650,000 people along the route, and some had queued in the cold and wind since 9/10am for the parade, which started at 12.

Strugz and his burnoffs of death was the first thing most people saw. Lisa made the costumes, and it was a completely amazing experience.

Ronan, Eimhin and Cameron were great in Bray too, from what I've heard biggrin

Then on Sunday, we all headed down to a little place called Clonmel, were joined by Aidan and Amelie, and we took part in their parade too.

Hurrah for fire in the parade...

biggrin

Yep, saw Clare and Lisa on tv last night from the parade - looked great! I was up in Letterkenny in the cold, windy, rainy parade there with Lee, Amélie and Brian.

I think Barney upstaged us though.

Maybe that's what's wrong with me... not enough daytime TV.

Cartoons and Trisha would sort my head out... no doubt biggrin

It's all about your perspective of reality smile

(well, it works for students and pensioners)

And Claire... bless your newbie innocence... isn't it obvious?

Barney has a football in his mouth because he only has two fingers on each hand. Every juggler knows that's crap for catching.
