Does anyone know of any events or gatherings that may be coming up in Cornwall?
It would be great to meet some like-minded people and (try to) further my ability!!

oli, i don't think you should change your style to spin smoothly. the way you spun on sat. was radly manic! if you do get spinning smoothly off pat, keep the crazyness too!

hope im not interupting your thread, but, i am hoping to come down to cornwall over half term (the bonus' of being a teacher!) and wondered if you might be having any meets around then (wk beginning 25th oct)? i will be staying with my cousin on trefullock moor (summercourt) but will be driving so can easily travel. i think some of my cousins friends do fire poi, i wonder if its any of you guys?

Hello!

On Saturday did anyone pick up an odd poi? Or have an odd set?? I found out that i have one thats mine and one with a swivel near the handle and a keyring ring near the wick. Sound familiar??

If anyone picked up my poi by mistake, can i have it back pleeeeease??

it sounds like mine cos i cleverly left behind both of my three day old poi on the beach that night. Keep it for wick if you'd like.

There isn't anything in my diary but i can meet up with you with a couple of my spinny friends for sure. Let me know I think a few Cornish poiers are in and around falmouth college. I must say i dont know Falmouth very well so if you can think of places and times i will be happy.

*woot* count us in! we live in falmouth and are up for spinny activities any time. Swanpool on the 31st sounds good. any idea's time wise? might be a little late as having parental-visit-meal. sounds good though, nice way to celebreate halloween.
