Ok, latest round of photos... from Bali

Harumph, darned intershnet. flickr bali fire set if you can. I want to see if these can get bumped into the beyond-poi-community world
So, many of you have been enjoying the photos I post on the homeofpoi.com galleries. I want to bring those photos to the attention of a community beyond the poi community, so I've put up all my photos on flickr.com. (I have a pro account there, so I have unlimited space. There are a whole lot of extra photos).
If you don't know about flickr, it's the internet's most popular photo site, and it is used by a huge community of talented artists and photographers. It's a community I would love to network with. If I can get enough traffic to my galleries, and if enough people take the time to tag their favorites or comment the the photos, then they will become more popular on flickr. It would be very exciting to see what non-poi spinning people think of the photos and videos I produce.

Go to https://www.flickr.com/photos/playpoi/sets/72057594064648586/ to check out my LED/light photos. This is the best gallery!

Remember to comment on your favorites. You can also tag them, send them to groups, etc. It's this interaction I need more than anything else.

I hope to do more photo shoots this summer. I want to get into story-telling-through-photos, and my head is full of ideas, but it's just so hard to find the time.

I sooo want to see what would happen if the flickr guys noticed and blogged about my photos. My God, what If I started getting performances. Did you know that I never perform?
The trouble is that all these photos and videos have come at the expenses of my finances, so I'm trying to figure out how to make a living doing this, otherwise I have to go back to a grunt job, and put myself through school at the same time, which means bye-bye poi (ok, that's a bit dramatic, obviously).
So I'm trying to figure out if I can get enough people who like what I do to do the little things that will allow me to do more of what they like me doing.
I'm also in a competition to write the most confusing sentenses possible
Oh, but enough. As long as I make HOPers happy then I'm doing well as an artist

beautiful fire pics from Bali Nick. I hope the owners of the venue were understanding of the nudity tho...Indonesia as a state certainly isnt (you can get arrested for bare shoulders under pornography laws)...
