Pair of EMPTY Cone Poi
Good enough
"In December I ordered 5 pairs for teaching others. Unfortunately, 3 of the 10 are an inch shorter than the rest, and on the other 7 the inside seams are not overlocked, the hem is left loose and is already fraying. I ordered a pair of these over a decade ago, they've lasted me very well. The 'invisible' velcro seal, sturdy non-stretchy fabric and loops were major selling points to me. The construction seems otherwise the same standard, though these newer ones have slightly wider handles which is no problem at all. Unfortunately I'm concerned that this lack of quality control also suggests a general decline in quality overall. Where else are corners being cut?"

They're ok
"These sock poi serve the purpose, I suppose. But the stretch on them is unreal. One of them stretched an extra 5 inches and the other stretched 7 inches!! The only way I can get them even again is by tossing them in the dryer for a few minutes. I really don't use them very often because of this. I also had to repair a hole in the seam at the very end of one of the socks, right out of the packaging. It's all unfortunate, because I love the bright color."

Four Inch Diameter Sphere Used to inspect Residential Decks in the U.S.
"I recently saw these four inch diameter spheres during an Internet search. I was looking for a four inch diameter sphere that my staff and I could use to check the spacing between residential deck handrail pickets (i.e. 2x2 verticals) as well as the space between the deck guardrail's bottom rail and the surface of the deck. The Residential Building Code requires that a 4 sphere diameter sphere NOT be able to pass thru the gap at these two residential deck locations. Now, after having received these spheres from Home of Poi, my staff and I will be able to easily check the deck spacing. The lanyard attachment point enables us to hang the sphere from the rear view mirror in our work trucks so it is always handy."
