Been twirling for: Ive been playing with fire off and on and juggling etc since about 1994.
Occupation: I am part of the Home of poi Team,
My job is funky product design and development, customer support, straight jacket provider and idea bounce erroffa etc etc etcHobbies/Interests: Twirling & Juggling as you can tell, camping, festivals, tramping, hassling my dog, blending with nature, reading, pottery, music etc
Music: A wide variety really, from Tool to Bob Dylan and a range of styles inbetween.
Favourite Colour: Blue and Purple.

What is a kombie? I'm assuming it's a camper but it well could be something to do with fast food.

yeah, a kombi is basically a VW minibus, though apparently you can call other similar vehicles a kombi as well (at least in South Africa).

A kombi is a Volkswagon camper van of the older style, mines a restored 1969 model. Slow cruizing but great for parking at festivals selling your wares, or just roaming the country etc etc. They also tend to leave you broke as theres always something to fix on them.
Apparently, the chosen cruize machine for travelling through Europe in times gone by.
( so Im told anyway)

south africa has a wider definition for kombie than NZ does then - includes newer models and non-camper versions, and occasional (but not always) is inclusive of the toyota, mazda, and other minivans.

Can I order several straight jackets please Chris? Which section do I find them in at the HoP Shop? Please tell me you do an extra strong one for keeping other HoPpers safe from pseudo-germans! Travelling in a car to Falmouth with a psuedo-german is hazardous, or so I'm lead to believe! Hence the need to restrain him!

Thanks for the birthday wishes guys and gals, muchly appreciated and yes totally a fantabulas, hoppity, splendiforous day......Even managed to squeeze in some spinning on a beeeeeautiful beach in the sunshine.....Not bad for this time of year in little old Christchurch NZ.
