if its the one I've seen, I read a site saying he's using an emulator which allows him to slow the game down and frequent save.
but its still amazing and pointless talent
but look out for an insane tetris vid which apparently is for real,

Im not sure if its the one youve seen or not, Glass, though Im expecting it is. But the video seems pretty khosher to me... The sound plays and doesnt sound distorted/choppy/edited. Im sure he used an emulator but not so sure he cheated. Possible but I can see this actually happening.

This is indeed the video where they played at 1/30th speed, as well as saved every few screenlengths in case of mistake so they could go back and fix it. When you get to the part where he gets 99 lives from cannnons, it becomes obvious he is either A) Jesus, or B) Slow-mo emulating it.

Heh, yeah... It was pretty hard to believe that part... Specially when he hit just about every cannon ball in the entire 8th world. Even jumping on one and hitting another with his tail at the same time lol.



I just so wanted to believe there was a god of video games out there somewhere



It's still a good video none the less. Just look at it this way, now you have something to practice towards

I couldn't agree more... as soon as I saw that, it prompted me to dust off the old NES and play Mario 3 with a friend of mine. She kept getting mad, because I was trying to rush through all the levels as quickly as I could and proceeded to die over and over again.

He has another video out that demonstrates him beating Mega Man 2 in about 28 minutes from start to finish. The guy definitely has made some interesting pieces, I found some statistics on just how many saves he had to use in those two games to produce the videos.
