hehe just thought i would share...
this morning my toast got stuck and as i'm tring to skillfully wrest it out of the clutches of the toaster i kept burning my fingers a little and yelping every time and then i just started laughing maniacally....here i am all sensitive to toast burn and two nights ago i was gleefully whipping fire all about my head and doing wraps and stuff...! LOL! I don't know if you call that irony or just plain bizarre.

I dunno about anyone else, but I'm terrified of fire and very hot things in general.
That's why I've never been injured while spinning, I suppose.

I find the best thing to do when I get a piece of toast stuck in the toaster is jam a fork in there and wiggle it about until it comes out.

I prefer to use a butter knife to get my stuck toast out.

Stick a metal object in a toaster that's still plugged in and bread may not be the only thing toasted for breakfast....

i haev an unnatural fear of toasters afetr my mother set the kitchen on fire one morning, told me to call 911, proceeded to dispose of the offending toaster, 6 foot flames and all, and then blamed me for teh whoel thing afterwards even tho we had all told her to throw it out months ago....
this is only one of many great cooking stories....
p.s. it doesn't hurt if you stick ur hand in the pilot light. but i'm not advocating this!

Our house has a toaster that literally acts like the ones in the cartoons. It throws the bread a good foot in the air. If you arrange a plate right next to the toaster (on the right), both slices will usually land smack on the plate.

lol @ mike's toaster...
i knwo some peopel who have a toaster taht shoots bread up, and they always try to catch it.
usually they yell ow after that, it's pretty funny.

Yeah, apparently a friend of mine had a toaster that shot the bread...and he kept losing bread. Couldn't figure out where the toast was going. He'd hear the click and *no toast!*
Until one day he caught one of his cats in the act of jumping over the toaster and nabbing the tost in mid-air.
