Tried searching?

The second video here: [Old link]

has some very lovely doubles on it done beautifully.

MCP's site may also have some great doubles tutorial.

Try using www.google.co.uk and searching for "double staff lessons" ubbidea

Other than that, just get practicing...

Each stick spinning:
same time (in time), same directions
same time (in time), different directions
different time (split time), same directions
different time (split time), different directions

A kiss blown is a kiss wasted, the only kind of kiss is a kiss tasted.

I'm a woman. We don't say what we want, but we reserve the right to be pissed off if we don't get it. That's what makes us so fascinating and not just a LITTLE bit scary.

have you even been to my site UCOF? It has only one doubles vid, about an almost entirely unlikely move.

I didn't even do doubles back then!

Bender's site has some crazy jumpy doubles moves on it.

about a year ago, smallboy videoed me spinning loads of basic doubles spinny patterns with the intention of making a tutorial site. Dunno if he still has the footage.

Search for:
doubles "double staff"
in the video forum. You should definitely check out vids by Knoxious and Josh.

some stuff to add to UCOF's superb advice:

Check out the effect of spinning simple circles with one wick in front of you and one wick behind you (same direction\opposite direction; split time/same time)
Try changing between those, figure eights and doublespins.
Try moving your hands to different places: thrust out to your side, above your head, stretched behind your back, crossed across the body. Try these in different combinations.
When you find something you like, then try turning around with it too, and you may well end up with something you like even more.

"Switching between different kinds of chuu chuu sometimes gives this "urgh wtf?" effect because it's giving people the phi phenomenon."

hey, i'm just tryin to lear doubles too, and flailing seems a major part of it.. but also leads to my wrists wanting to twist through 360 degrees (ouch)
i think i should improve finger/hand rolls?
