in fireshamans video he wraps the chain around his arms then the poi sit in his hands for a few seconds.
i managed to get this down with sock poi but when i switched to fire i got a nice chain and poi impression burnt into my arm
.
i was wandering how he pulled this of, or is it just no pain no gain

Your probably better off using kevlar gloves for this one, difficult to spot from a disatance, cut off fingers etc, although this can be done against bare skin, it helps if you have no exposed metal parts on you heads, what your after is to wind the chain around the palm, and briefly have the heads come to a stop on the palms, it helps a 'lot' if your palms are facing upwards, me I prefer doing this with kevlar gloves, looks the same.

If you make your chains out of jelly, they dont get so hot and wont burn you when it comes into contact with your skin.
