And so, announcing the worst kept secret in history.

Uberpoi will almost certainly be held on the weekend of the 16th of July.

Teachers will be confirmed in the next few weeks. but don't you worry, they're going to be DAMN good.

price will be £45.
why the increase you ask?

because the uberstaff teachers were paid a very small amount, certainly not enough for the time they put in. and we would like to pay people a reasonable amount for their work. £45 is still very cheap when compared to most weekends of this type (approx £40 per day is the usual rate).

Accomodation will be fun to sort out, but i'm going to try to find a cheap location for all.

i am away in bristol for the next week, so will not keep you up to date until after i get back.

*invites excitement*

wink

much love

Yeah newgabe, anytime after August 7th is considered ontime aparently but although it's due just after PLAY Fest.

George is quite comfy thanks, not doing too bad considering random women keep coming up and asking "how overdue" it is and patting it for her. That'd really bug me you know!

Drew, thank you so much for everything you did over the weekend.

You were an inspiration and I can't really express how grateful I am to you, Rob, Andy, Nick and all the other dancers I have met over the past week.

It feels amazing to finally have a direction, and to realise the work I need to do to get to where I want to be with this.

I was utterly fed-up with poi and struggling with this constant need to learn more moves... but this past week has changed all that.

So thank you to everyone.

I have fallen in love with those who danced.

clare: thanks... though today is more my birthday. but I'm not picky.

drew: thank you kindly. yeah - the "[censored] poi" raver toy was awesome. speaking of which, I ought to email andrea about stocking up on those.

mikey: check the falmouth set. there's one specifically for you. and I'll check for philly photos, but I don't think I took many pictures during the philly thing... just the cheesesteak eating.
