The Seven Deadly Sins:
Lust
Greed
Anger
Sloth
Covetousness
Pride
Gluttony

Which one (if you feel comfortable answering)is most prminent in ur life? Which one is least?

Myself, I think pride is teh one taht subtly influeces most of my descisions.
Greed and Gluttony are almost completly absent from my life, although i do suspect i would have a harder time with greed if i knew there was a plety for me to pick from. But either really influence aything i do.

Most: *Edit, originally I put pride but on thinking about it more it would be covetousness.

Least: Sloth

At the moment, Gluttony. I'm cutting that out now though, I've stopped eating the piles of junk food I used to get through.

I imagine that once I've got rid of my gut, pride will take over a bit, but that's not a bad thing in small doses.

But there's no sense crying over every mistake. You just keep on trying till you run out of cake.

I'd like to say Greed for my most. But I think it's actually Sloth. I'm just so lazy lately.

I think my least is Covetousness. I want what I want, not what others have.

Oh, for those that could use help I picked out common definitions for each of the 7.
quote:

Lust - To have an intense or obsessive desire, especially one that is sexual.

Greed - An excessive desire to acquire or possess more than what one needs or deserves, especially with respect to material wealth

Anger - A strong feeling of displeasure or hostility.

Sloth - Aversion to work or exertion; laziness; indolence.

Covetousness - Excessively and culpably desirous of the possessions of another.

Pride - An excessively high opinion of oneself; conceit.

Gluttony - Excess in eating; extravagant indulgence of the appetite for food; voracity.

I'd like to add to covetousess the want of some"" someone else has. i.e. you want their gf/bf, their job, their attitude, etc. not a possesion, but still it counts.
Those are the kid of things that bug me ow and then, like i wish i could have people's attitude's about stuff sometimes.

Hmm....Well, I guess Lust would be most prominent, but I don't have a problem with it or see it as a sin. So does that count?

After that would be pride and depending on where I am Anger.

I think greed or coverousness would be the ones I have least of. If anything at times I think I need more greed in my life and I really don't get jealous of things. I like it when my friends have jobs and lovers and other things that make them happy. It makes my life easier.

Good topic Kyrian.

Most: LUST.. without a doubt, but I wouldnt go so far as to call it an obsession....yet
Least: Covetousness...I admire people for what they have, but I dont want it myself...

I must admit since I hurt my leg Gluttony has reared its ugly head...I never realised what fantastic excercise twirling is...

Hrmmm... I was looking at all 7 and then thought about how suseptable I am to each... So, just for fun, I'll rate myself on each. I tend to be honest with myself and am actually curious as to how I'll do...

Let's say "0" is absolutely, positively, abnormally NONE of this emotion.

2-3 would be VERY little

5 would be present in your life but not in an exorbitant amount.

7-8 would be a major factor in your life

and 10 would be hellbent dysfunction in that area...

I'd be a:
Lust: 4 (I usually lust after things that want me back )
Greed: 3 (Public school teacher!)
Anger: 5 (Only because I drive every day, 2 in the summer)
Sloth: 3 (used to be a 6 my first year teaching)
Covetousness: 3 (If it's yours it probably sucks anyway )
Pride: 4 (2 outside of Home Of Poi)
Gluttony: 3 (1 for anything but chocolate)

Hrmmm... I don't think that I'm that good a person per se... It's just not THOSE sins that I have. If the deadly sins were Sarcasm and Starting-too-many-projects-without-finishing-any-of-them I'd be needing to hit up church a bit more.

Well, shall we go?
Yes, let's go.

I like the starting-too-many-projects-without-finishing-any-of-them, I think that would be my main sin. But hold on, doesn't that sorta come under sloth?

My big one is pride. I have been known to be one of those "I am so proud of my modesty & goodness" people

It was a day for screaming at inanimate objects.

What this calls for is a special mix of psychology and extreme violence...
