Greetings all! Ive found a life long friend in poi. Im seriously addicted. I dont think I could stop spinning if I tried lol. I discovered Poi about 5mo ago, during my 6mo trip to SE Asia. (SE Asia is amazing!) Im interested in taking some martial arts and dance classes to enhance my technique and skillz. Ive been into drums and drumming since gr.3 and I found my sense of rhythm and beat really helped when I first started poi. As well, I have always been interested in spirals and circles. Anybody whos dappled in sacred geometry and the such knows what im talking about
Ive become a member of the Home of Poi community to acquire some like minded friends and some contacts hopefully in my area. I'll be moving to Ucluelet, on Vancouver Island in BC in May '09. Anybody else from there who would like to get together and spin please let me know
Poi Pixies are in my area, and I plan to spin with them as well, but the more the marryier.
I hope the spirit of fire continues to nourish and inspire you all Cheers!

What is the wing speed of an unladen swallow? It depends, 45knots if its not being chased by a hawk, 75knots if it is. (lol, I think knots is a water speed measurement, but you get the picture)
Toys: hmmm, I think thats alittle personal for this post
Hobbies other than the obvious: Art, Music, Dancing, Snowboarding, etc, etc.
Education: Too much
