Posted: Hi, i'm gracie, i'm going by the general suggestions, so you'll just have to ignore the slight predictability of this. I've only been doing poi for a couple of months, but have still managed to set my leg on fire three times in one night
Aside from the obvious, my other hobbies include a bit of music, of most genres, a bit of science-fiction/fantasy, and Ballroom and Latin Dancing. I generally prefer the ballroom element of it (woo... pretty dresses), but some of the latin is just addictive.
For the acedemic side of things, I'm at Uni in Bath,UK at the moment, studying Maths and Physics; my other home is just north of London. My favourite authors include Katherine Kerr, Margret Atwood and Peter Watts. I have no idea what i want to be when i grow up, other than happy, not particularly wealthy or famous. My favourite musical artist varies pretending on my mood: a lot of Radiohead lives on my shelf, as does a bit of Sting. I have a huge amount of time for System of a Down, but for sheer power, you cannot beat Stravinsky. But then my room contains an absurd number of the Chopin etudes as well. Although sometimes some melodic Britten just hits the spot.
I generally don't watch a huge lot of TV, due the fact i dont own one, but I like some animes, particularly Hellsing and Trigun. Family Guy and Coupling are my favourite comedies, but Bill Bailey is one of the best standup comedians i have ever heard.
Thats about me in a bottle... urr I'll shut up now.

Posted: There's nothing wrong with going at your own pace. If there was, i would be in large amounts of trouble. I shall drop him a line for you. I didn't know Mark was musical.... hmmm...

Posted: "Mum's were mentioned." three times? you can't count.
none of the pretty sparkly dresses fit me they don't come in 6 ft
but they are pretty to watch and the latin dresses are fun, if a tad revealing.

Posted: Hello Gracie,
I know your name from the gravity vomit forum. I've posted on there a few times.
So, a girl who likes dancing and glittery poi. a girl after my own heart.
You should check out www.hyperloop.co.uk - it's also posted on the gravity vomit forum for glittery poi.
Plus keep your eye out for some poi dance classes starting at Widcombe parish hall in March!
Maybe we should try and get both the bath uni poi spinners and the bath hoppers together at some point. I'll be doing another of my open-houses sometime in the early part of this year, you should come along.
