It's a pretty miserable day today here in Nottingham got a bit of thunder and lightneing and a lot of rain but I just heard the ice cream van playing it's tune!!
What's that about? This guy never stops, come rain, shine, or even winter, he always trundling round the estate. Even when the kids are at school. I'm beginning to think he might be a bit of a drug dealer...
Does anyone else have a full time ice cream man?

We had an ice cream van that used to sell porn, he unfortunately got caught a couple of years ago though! :lol

In Belgium it's common to have Ice-cream vans driving around, summer and winter. And they have many different icecream flavours, not just boring vanilla.

We have an ice cream van that comes round all year. It's jingle is the tune from the film The Third Man which is a little odd

Live in Lenton by any chance? A mate of mine reports a dodgy ice cream van round there that probably doesn't do vanilla....
I acctually live in Clifton so there's a chance it's the same guy, might go to see what he has on offer

Sounds a bit like the postal service too..."come rain or shine!"
My mom told me a story from when she was young, she said that there were 2 ice cream trucks in the same street from different companies and the drivers started fighting with each other. Apparently it ended in an ice cream truck shoot out, though fortunately no one was hurt.
The ice cream business is cutthroat, i tell you...
