yeah, been busy lately. still spinning, just not on the site as often.
actually working on rigging up a hoop now. never thought i'd get into hooping, which is making the whole process a little more entertaining. how about you? picked up any new toys?

same here, life gets busy.
As for me, I got a new composite contact staff from flowtoys. Its been great thus far. I am going to be performing with it in a week *yikes!*. It will definitely be interesting. I have heard of people doing a performance a few months into a new prop, but weeks?????
I also am considering entering the new flowtoys video contest, the grand prize is too awesome to not enter. But seeing as how i have zero editing experience, i wouldn't even say I have a tenth of a chance of winning anything.
Oh well, either way I will use this as an opportunity to learn some new skills. I'd rather die on paws, than live on feet.

ha, power to you for the upcoming performance. hope it goes well!
i guess i'm just not really one for performance. that may because rather than really getting particularly skilled at one or a few toys, i've gotten the basics of a pretty wide slew of them. i enjoy just about all of them (devil stick being the exception, i really thought i'd love that one and it's just not my cup of tea), but not especially advanced with any of them.
power to you on the contest vid. circle of light will be coming up in a bit, start thinking about that if you haven't yet.

I am the kind of person who will kind of obsess over something though, so I can't really help thinking about it.
Are you thinking of using your new sticks in your video? I am considering adding some staff footage, although I am really bad at staff.
