first the good news....
So my "ultimate performance poi" arrived today after a brief wait. Thanks HoP!
I've been spinning (well, trying to) with homemade Poi for a brief period of time based on learning to spin glowchucks a couple of years ago...
These "real" poi made a world of difference. Good balance on the poi is a necessity.
Anyway.. ramble ramble. Now the Bad of it.
If I hit myself in the nads one more time, I think I'm going to cry. They are screaming out in pain. I am SO glad I didn't go "balls out" and purchase the beaming poi. :=]]]]
Ah well.... now if I can only manage to get things working in reverse motion.

even after you manage to stop hitting yourself in the nads with your practice poi, when you start using the beamers they manage to find their way back to the nads. I've hit myself in the groin more with the beamers in two weeks then I did with my practice poi in 7 months.
