The range of music is incredibly diverse. There is rock, blues, jazz, funk, folk, hip-hop, pop, world music, spoken word, percussion groups and country. Some are bands, some are duos and some are soloists. Some fit within these stereo types, some don't. The originality and independence of the artists that play at the festival is astounding, and unprecedented.

Comedians, acrobats, ballad-toting swagmen, fire twirlers and artists are present, creating an intimate and exciting atmosphere.

As all give freely to the festival, each performance is special, and generated in the spirit that is embodied in the name "Folk, Rhythm and Life". In the main arena, there is only ever one musical act on at a time, honouring them and you, by fully giving them the space and time to perform.
There is another low key performace space for intimate gigs and chalk board jamming. As well as some well-known acts, there are many lesser-known acts and some debut performances. All are inspiring and moving, some highly original, and all with the highest quality and integrity, embodying the spirit of music and the land.

...
