Hi, I'm brand spanking new to HOP, never even new it existed until I stumbled upon it recently. Only just starting to get my sea legs as far as the technology thing goes. Just typed poi into a search engine and BAM, Here I am. And right glad I am too. Been spinning for years on and off, started in South Africa and the enthusiasm kinda waned once I got to the UK and refused to leave the warmth of indoors for months. Years later I am regaining my passion and learnig to accept that 26 degrees celcius is warm.
Think Hop is amazing, looking forward to learning and living and loving and growing.

marie - do you do the tribal designs yourself?
ive been trying to get those effects for ages 
that and the curved gradient backgrounds (like in the pebbles pic which is awsome

IM BAAAACK! Still dont feel so good though. Soooooooo much work to do *sigh*. Not going to Jaz's par-tay on Friday.No cash,I said we may be able to come along for one on her actual birthday...which is on Tuesday. And eeep! Going home with Mark to Northampton on Saturday night...meeting and staying with his parentals....scary stuff...this must be love
For those of you coming to play bank holiday weekend, you will be able to meet him...a rare opportunity indeed. He's never even seen me spin (then again, not many hoppers have either
)and stays away from all things spinny. But Ive gone to a couple of his gigs now. It's only fair that he branches out from his 'rock star' life and mingles with some real people. 
I'm getting really excited about the spin now, I was watching old video of me spinning and it's gotten me revved up again. Wooooo!

well I'm gonna try and get some footage soon. this weekend is my last quiet weekend for a while. got yours next weekend blu and wychwood festival the weekend after..wooo short week between tuesday to thursday.
then only a couple of weeks til play...

Ive been planning on coming to the strawberry fair since I was supposed to go last year and couldnt. But my car is F**ked. If Lee can get his dad down to sort it in time for sure we will be there, or if I can get it fixed in time. But I only get paid on the 28thm that only gives me like a week! But yeah hopefully!!! I take it you are going then?
