i made my own double headed poi chains out of choke chains(for dogs) tennis balls, and leather straps.i've been practicing for about a month and have only lit them 3-4 times. I'm looking for some sort of poi community in pasadena, CA area. just hit me up.

Are you lighting tennis balls on fire? if so i suggest you take a look at teh backyard spinner's guide to fire (or whatever its called) you can get it free or watch it on this site.
well im at it, why dont you fill out the survey at the top of the into forum just copy and past it in this thread and fill in the answers so we can get to know you better (makes it easier for us to stalk you).

well i wrap the tennis balls in socks and then soak them in camping fuel. occasionally they fling stuff but its always out by the time it hits the floor.
