Well when I was in medical school I took this elective course called "Western Complimentary and Alternative Medicine Systems." We had a session with a physical therapist, one with an osteopath, and one with a chiropractor. I also met Feldenkrais therapists, homeopaths, naturopaths, herbalists, and a natural pharmacist. It's arguably the most single useful course I've ever taken, right up there with Yoga.
I learned how to adjust a thoracic vertebra, and I learned a hell of a lot of massage, accupressure, and posture reinforcement.
So I have a very clinical style. It's about making the massagee feel good, rather than anything else. Although I have my own yogic spiritual twist that I throw in at the end during the wind-down. But once I've put you on a table and worked you over with massage oil for an hour, you'll feel an inch taller.

I love my college because you can go to the community health collective any time you want for a free massage. The masseurs get community service hours and lots of appreciation.

Its not my main job its only part of my job. I work in a music store, I started out repairing string instruments but I am so efficient that they expanded my position to Studio Manager. I hire and fire teachers if they are not performing to our standards, I also create new programs in music AND I also manage our other store therefore making it impossible for me to do what I actually love and thats repairs. The worse thing about firing one of my teachers is that he was my cousin.
