So just when I thought things were getting a bit samey and my importance may have been dwindling, he remembers something I told him the second time we met, three years ago, that I had completely forgotten about up until now.Not only did he remember, but he acted on it and bought me the most amazing anniversary gift. Followed by telling me he can't wait to spend the rest of his life with me. He DOES pay attention sometimes...and he DOES care. And no amount of dirty dishes or totally posed prancing about in his superman pants with a rose between his teeth is going to take away that gooey mushy 'awwwwww' feeling .

Whats the sweetest thing anyone has ever done for you /said to you? (Could be anyone)
You may be inclined to talk about sweet things you have done, and thats fine too. smile

well...
i have a bad habit of getting heavily infatuated very fast,
the one time i didnt i'd known them for six months before i realised i liked them so i decided to go corny and wrote a poem which i attached to a black rose (thats their favourite colour) and sent it to them from the florists.

thats the most romantic thing i've ever done and needless to say i got rewarded for it massivley. lasted just over a year that one.

A few stick in my mind.

From boys:
One is Pineappele Pete buying me strawberries and cream and hand-whipping the cream for when I came home from a job trial.

Another was Ayellayen getting leave (from army) on a bet and surprising me on my door at midnight.

From mates:
I was going to be away for Christmas in a country that doesn't even celebrate it (Japan) and my flatmate Kathryn (zehcrec) and my mate/her boyfriend tAlex (bluebottle) decked the house out in tea candles and played my favourite Christmas song for me to surprise me when I came home from work (interestingly enough it was from the same job where I had the strawberries and cream after the trial!) It was so wonderful I started crying.

...wow...all the above people are HoPpers! ubblove

i would have changed ***** to phallus, and claire to petey Petey

Rougie: but that's what I'm doing here
Arnwyn: what letting me adjust myself in your room?..don't you dare quote that on HoP...

I remember another one! This was over a couple of years ago now, but I was a bit down due to various reasons, and feeling rather insignificant and lonely when my best friend (Baby Lee) surprised me outside work on one knee with a bunch of flowers singing his heart out to me. It really cheered me up even though it made me shed a tear. smile

Hmmm.... I got my ex-girlfriend's subwarden to leave some flowers on her (ex-girlfriend's) bed. (This is a current ex, she was my girlfriend then.)

Probably about the only thing that would really count here. wink
