So yes, I'm just starting out with poi. I live in a very small town, noone in this area knows what poi is. You mention it, they say "What's 'at?" you describe it, get the same response. Yay for Hick towns. I'm hoping to bring a bit of fun to my area!

New person! Yay!

Welcome to HoP!

Watch out for the squirrels. They dislike being used as poi.

Also, Marmite is better, but I will forgive you for being a MST3K fan. wink

Haha, I work in a call center. We have the headsets. I don't know how well that's gonna fly when my boss comes back (He's on vacation) but, we'll see. It'd be awesome if he'd let me do that haha.

Yeah I've been watching some of the beginners videos today. I defintely enjoy this so much. I've hit myself quite a bit, but it's all in the spirit of learning haha.

Yeah. I guess, especially with the hypnotizing jailhouse poi O_O You should see them in a blacklight grin awesome! I have a couple pairs of them, but I learned I hate the stretchyness of them. But friends seem to find them easier to spin with o0. Maybe because they forcefully go slow? I'd say my old beat up cone poi which I recently found and my LED poi are my favorite under my fire poi grin I'm also in an area where quite literally NO ONE has ever seen it before. Which makes it all the more entertaining for them grin I personally came across it 8 time zones away from me. Maybe I'll create some spinners to keep as lackeys and call Scribble and Dinkins that worship me as a poi god and wish to follow in my footsteps as I keep them alienated from all other sources of poi. Could work wink

Aston, Marmite? honestly its no substitution for Vegemite.

I watched role models yesterday, really good and really bad all at the same time, the kind of mix that makes it awsome.

sticks and stones my break my bones, but ski patrol will save me.

High five for spinning at work! I've been doing it long enough that it's started to change from charming and novel to annoying, but obsessive spinning is part of the path to Awesome (which is why I also spin on my way to the car, in my back yard, in the grocery store, while fueling my car...).
