Posted: Hello to all the community! I just got a pair of tailed poi and I'm very excited about it
I am an absolute beginner-till now, I can only swing same time and split time.. my question is, does tailed poi limit the number of the moves one can perform? I have not find sufficient info on that (I live on a tiny, remote place right now so internet is my only source) and from my experience and practise I think that is rather more difficult to do more complex moves with that..
Please, any help will be greatly appreciated!
Peace, Irini

Posted: Yes, tailed poi do limit what you can do, though they look great for performances.
Most people use sock/ cone poi these days

Actually, I am more interrested in performing as I am into dancing and want to enhance the concept :) So tailed poi is for me now. I have learned several moves so far, but my aim now is to work on my flow as they look nice separately but kind of..robotic while dancing.
Greets from Greece.
