me and my boyfriend bought a beautiful new kitten yesterday,
but we've got one problem: we can't decide on a name...he's a little boy, and he's very mischievious, but can be quite placid too. He's a tabby, and looks a bit like a tiger. I thought I'd enlist the help of your good selves to help come up with a suitable name for the young man. Any ideas will be very appreciated!

We named our cat, who adopted us, Camden (after Camden Town, my favourite place) because he's so wierd and wonderfull. You never know what to expect from him because he used to live on the streets. He's been with us for almost a year now and still does crazy stuff.
His name suits him so so well and you're welcome to use it if you like.
Life's journey is not 2 arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body,
...but rather to skid in sideways totally worn out shouting "WHAT A RIDE!!!"

Would I be correct in assuming that all the names like Fluffy, Whiskers and Puss-puss are not to be even considered?
If he looks like a Tiger call him something like "Sher Khan"!

i got 4 cats and i never knew how to name each of them... as a result they got strange names....

Thanks for the suggestions guys. We've ended up calling him Saru, whichis monkey in Japanese. It suits him very much

saru? if you're going to call him money in a different language why not just call him monkey? i wish my name was monkey!

umm, don't know why. Saru suits him more than monkey. monkey seems a bit bland. But if you wish... I now christen you Monkey: the monkey formally known as mr majestik.
