Sounds like you doing it right..
I learnt it one hand at a time then tried putting it together.
Suddenly it clicks and alls well with the world.
Can you go over under back with your left?

hey try this!!!! as soon as you start the second spin on the left with the right poi bring your left poi and arm over your right arm to the right side of your body , hope that helps if it doesn't give me a day or two n i'll come with another way of explaining it Keep us posted on how your doin

seriously, you'll feel like a monkey, but i tried doing the weave unsucessfully for three months on chains, before i spent two afternoons just memorising the hand movements slowly and exagerated with spoons. The next day, picked up my chains and i didnt even have to think about it! it just happened. i think once my hands knew what they were doing by themselves i stopped struggling with it..... `

With the little help of learning some liquid (flowing hand movements never hurt anyone) and watching someone do it in slow motion for what seemed like hours, I'm now able to do it, and it seems so natural now
