Don't know if this has been posted here before, but it should be enshrined in everyone's bookmark list.

International fuel name equivalents

This is originally intended for backpacking stoves, but it's got good information in general.

Found this via the reorganized Incendium site.

Thanks Adam, great info..

but.... I wonder why for New Zealand it lists Shellite & Pegasol under the same listing/fuel? To me (and Australia is not very different to NZ) these two fuels have *very* different properties - ie shellite has a much lower flashpoint... hmmmmm....

I would think Pegasol is much closer to Kerosene. Here it is. New Zealanders?
