Posted: i KNOW this question has been asked but i wanted a more indepth answer
When breaking in new wicks i believe you are supposed to soak the wick first then burn it off and repeat a few times...how long should you soack them before burning them?
Any help would be grand

Posted: It doesn't matter too much if you soak em for ages or give them a dip. The theory is that you cure the outside layer so you don't neccessarily need to soak as you would for a spin. Just so long as there is fuel to ignite.
