My personal favorite are Zuni Poi (www.mystiktoyz.com has them). They're well weighted I think, look pretty and have nice strings, save for the single finger loops

I don't know for sure, but I've used the ultimate performance poi and they're nice, they swing at a good speed. I've never used the fluffy ball poi but they look kinda light...

Some one on here told me that the ultimate performance poi are supposed to be a real pain...

because they have really long tails and they seem to get tangled very often, and being hard to untangle due to the length doesn't help, is what they said.

Is that true?

Tails are good They force you to get your planes right.

If the bother you just tie them up.
