so, here i am new to the game, transplanted midwesterner on the west coast, kicking around LA, looking for advice shops, like minded people, i'm a bit of an all around cat, stilts, clowns, trying to learn poi and staff, used to mess around with it when i was a kid without realizing i was tapping something larger, so any body out there wanna drop me a line? advice, encouragement?

Kyrian - you're sure going to be busy if you get round to all these places you're promising! How you going to fund your adventures??

And hello to you Bryan. You wanting encouragement? You need no more than that feeling when you get a new move and it all suddenly seems to make sense *sigh* - i love those moments. It'll come good really quickly - you'll be suprised. practice hard at the basics and then let the flow take over and see what happens

I love it when Ros nails a new move too - cos she bounces over and kisses me. These moments are to be cherished methinks.

Hello Bryan,
How long have you been in LA? If you get a chance head down to Fireplay LA. Its at a parking lot in the downtown industrial district on 7th off of Alameda. Theres all manner of people there every wednesday - jugglers, dancers, etc. Lots of different tools and the people are very friendly. I'll be there tomorrow night around 9:30 till about 11. Its my last time before I leave for the summer. Oh, it actually starts at about 8 or 8:30. Hope you can make it.
