hi all
(i like the new HoP! did kinda freak me out when i couldn't access anything the other day....but tis all better now!!!
) anyways...back on topic!! i went and saw 'the lion, the witch, and the wardrobe' the other night! there's a big battle scene near the end (can't remember exactly where...) and that was going well...and then this girl spinning some wicked red glow poi came on stage!! she was poi fighting!! very kewl! and there was a guy spinning clubs too! so unexpected! so much fun!!!
so there ya have it folks - it's amazing where poi spinning can get you!!!!

The last two west end musical productions I have been to (actually..ive only been to two) have had some spinning related thingy in it.

the version of 'the lion, etc' i saw was a theatre production...in brisvegas...queensland...australia!
i'm not sure bout the movie thing. but if you're in the vacinity of brisvegas...i wouldn't waste your money going to see it. the twirler is only on for maybe five minutes...the rest of it just wasn't that good! the twirling was the highlight for me - which really isn't saying much about the rest of the play/musical. the singing was really average...about as average as watching the people auditioning for australian idol...nasty!
ahh well...twas nice to have some twirling in there! kinda made up for the gratuitous songs!!
