It's probably just a down point in your Poiing experience. It'll all come back withen a day to a week (at least that's what happened to me).Good luck, and keep back at it.

I have extraordinarily uncoordinated days, where my arms seem to do the opposite of what I tell them. Or for some reason my rhythm goes out the window. It just happens, and everything comes back good in due time.R.

It was a day for screaming at inanimate objects.

What this calls for is a special mix of psychology and extreme violence...

Maybe you never actually learned the move. Hear me out. There's a difference between, landing a move and doing it consistantly. You might have just been "landing" these moves and just moving on to the next move.Or not, i dunno. Maybe you're a freak of nature who forgets stuff :P------------------[]Dhuong-Vu Truong==== []Dhunky ====

In many cultures/exercise genres there is a concept called "body memory". There is a difference between your head willing your body to do the move and your body doing it automatically. The first is techinical knowledge, the second is body memory. The first is what you achieve when learning, and my guess is that is where you were when you put them down. That is where I am at with my staff. As long as I am consistent I do well. I put it down and am back at square one. However, after doing moves fluidly and consistently for a *long* while, your body seems to just know what to do without willing it to. That is body memory. That is where I am at with many poi moves and am hoping to be at one day with staff, and other things I do as well. Problem with body memory is sometimes you get to the point where you automatically flow from one move to the other without thought, so that it takes concentration to actually break out of that pattern. Eventually the moves will come back to you, and with time and effort they will become so automatic it is like breathing for you. Then you will find other moves or toys which will challenge and frustrate you all over again! wink------------------Pele Higher, higher burning fire...making music like a choir...https://www.pyromorph.com
