well everyone else seems to have a new intro thread so i thought i might as well get one too. here it goes:
hello everyone...
my name's duballstar (or chris if you ever meet me) and at the moment i'm a student at nottingham uni.
i first started doing poi in france the summer of 2002 but took a while to get started and even longer to get on HOP. my poi guru is my mate laura (elsata) who first taught me stuff, thanx babe!
i currently spin with originalsmit and the rest of the nottingham contingent most of whom still haven't made it onto HOP yet....
as well as poi i also juggle and play with staff and guitar and somehow manage to surf fairly often despite living inland...
musicwise i love loadsa stuff from punk and metal to breakbeat and techno to hip hop to roots reggae not to mention old classics...
hope to meet y'all someday on my travels through the world of poi, spread the love!
