Argh! eek
This is my unhappy little rant for the day... frown
Trying to move house atm, and we have new tenants coming in...
One problem, the inspection is earlier than we thought, ditto for the tenants moving in, and one of my housemates (lets call him housemate A) has so much rubbish to move - the house was drowning in it, one reason i wanted out in the first place. (and he really should have started moving ages ago - the move is no surprise)

So firstly i don't get told the inspections is earlier, both my housemates don't tell me. All my stuff was out of the house anyway, and my room and bathroom cleaned, and i've done some gardening and other misc communal stuff anyway, so thats fine. And my housemates got friends in to help them clean and move their own stuff.

What isn't fine is one of my housemates (house mate A) calling me before work the next morning (now yesterday), telling me that the inspection was earlier, and telling me to have the day off work and help (which i couldn't as my supervisor was away and i would be running the office on my own) and then having a go at me, hanging up on me three times and calling me and F-ing this and F-ing that and threatening to tell the agent the deal was off (we are breaking our lease, it should be up in Nov).... okay, so not so bad, i get some time off work (and start early today to make up for it, and put my boss off side), lend the boys money i can't afford to get the carpets steamcleaned cause they are broke, and get my sisters in to help garden and clean.

Almost 12 hours later, after hours of straight cleaning, housemates A's stuff is still all thru the house, and its all rubbish which he wants to keep.
So he chucks a tantrum - yells at me, threatens me with physical violence, tells me to get out of the house asap and for every minute i delay he theatened to break something that will have to payed for to get fixed. eek So glad that the first thing a friend did immediatly was step in between us - which i should have thanked him for. ubblove

So i got out of there, but housemate A is swearing and carrying on and is going to have a go at the real estate agent for telling us the wrong date originally, and i'm afraid what hes going to say frown He stormed down to the agents to see of there was an after hours number, so glad there wasn't.

And hour later he sent housemate B and his girlfriend packing too.

Not sure what to do - decided i'll just have to write off my share of the bond, and forget about it, and accept i'll have a rental black mark against my name.
(And hope i can get money off both the boys to cover the final electricty/gas/phone/water bills that are in my name)

Okay - thats my rant - had to get it off my chest so i can stop dwelling on it, and get back to work to catch up on yesterday - Thank you for reading this ubbcrying

(Oh, and the one or two of you who knows my housemates - please don't mention i put this on the internet! Ta hug )

I smile because i have no idea whats going on!! biggrin

Oh Mel....I know how you feel (okay not exatcly but very close) my ex housemate/boyfriend and I had very similar arguments when we moved from Rivervale to Ferndale and then when I moved out to Thornlie.

Oh.. and it just gets worse and worse... frown

Find out that not only has housemate A dissappeared and we can't find him anywhere, not at his new house, the old, his parents, and the final inspections today and his stuff is still in the house, but i find out that while i was out the back last night, he attacked one of my friends, apparently leaving very nasty bite marks (& the friend had been helping him move for two days) - I thought it was odd that my friend left without saying goodbye, now i know why. Just glad he was a big fella who could look after himself frown

Oh dear o dear - Just glad i'm not Housemate B who is now on the phone to the real estate agency to explain whats going on eek

I smile because i have no idea whats going on!! biggrin

The real estate agent just found him when she came to do the final inspection - Asleep in the house.

We have till the new tenants move in at 4pm today (3hr 12mins) to get all his stuff out and the carpets done - Or else we are loosing our bond, and having a nice little rental black mark against our names....

Altho all our happy helpers are afraid to go back into the house because of him....

So looks like we are loosing our bond $300 each to cover the dumping of anything left in the house in a few hours (all this one guys stuff)... and i'm stuck at work and can't leave to help (already bailed on work yesterday to help)

Can i scream now? ubbcrying ubbcrying ubbcrying

I smile because i have no idea whats going on!! biggrin

yes, go to a valley and scream really loudly and listen to it echo!
THEN, scream pen1s into the valley at the top of your lungs and laugh yourself stupid (yes, its incredibly juvenile but childishly amusing!)

i would have changed ***** to phallus, and claire to petey Petey

Rougie: but that's what I'm doing here
Arnwyn: what letting me adjust myself in your room?..don't you dare quote that on HoP...

Thanks Medusa for organising Geoff hug And thanks Burning Byron for coming along to help us too hug - Love you guys!! ubblove

And apparently housemate A is apologetic after a nap about how he acted last night, but no apology to me has been forthcoming so far....

I smile because i have no idea whats going on!! biggrin
