Well ummm here I am.. finally (taadaaa)
. I've been hanging around this site for a couple of months since I finally got myself a staff (or more accurately, made a friend get me one for my birthday).
I live in Melbourne and only know a couple of people into twirling, so I'll be down to Edinburgh gardens with a couple of beers to share and meet you all... (I'm relying on the beers to get you flocking over to meet me.... and teach me....
). So far, I've been trying to figure stuff out with the lessons on here and just seeing what happens if I just play around 
About me: I'm pretty easy going, I laugh all the time at anything and everything, especially myself, I go to uni, play guitar, love camping and road trips and getting to know new people - learning about where they're from, where they're going, what they're about.. (all those lovely freaks and wierdos).
I'm planning a trip to Wilson's Prom post-exams (ie: mid November) for about a week with a load of awesome people, so hopefully I'll get a few of you down there twirling on the beach

In case you were wondering.. I posted a long thing in the names thread about what it means..
Short version?
It's originally a buddhist term. Then Gandhi started using it and it got a new western definition which is 'revolution through non-violent resistance'..
Oh.. and I couldn't really use anything related to fire.... Shhhhh I'm still a fire-virgin. But do not fret yourselves.. as someone here (forgot who) has suggested.. virginity can indeed by cured and I can assure that the loss of mine will be fully documented and up somewhere soon... very soon...
